Ben Carver
Governmental Training Officer
Mr. Carver received his B.S. in Business Administration from Delta State University, where he was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society & Mu Alpha Theta. He was also a member of the Delta State Baseball Team, Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Student Government Association’s Public Relations Board and a Resident Assistant.
At the Center for Governmental Training & Technology, Mr. Carver plans and delivers educational programs for local government officials, particularly emergency management and homeland security officials; provides technical assistance in homeland security areas; and writes local government education
Mr. Carver is currently working on his Master in Public Policy & Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources Management. He is married to the former Jamie Gearren of Iuka, MS and they currently reside in Starkville.
